Medical indications:
- Cold reduces blood flow to the treated area, reducing swelling, inflammation, and pain. Therefore, it is useful for acute injuries (such as sprains and bruises), acute arthritis, post-surgical swelling, headaches, and superficial burns.
- Heat increases blood flow, relaxes tense muscles, and relieves tension. Therefore, it is useful for treating muscle spasms, chronic joint pain, back and neck pain, menstrual cramps, and in preparation for physical activity.

Safety instructions:
- The compress should be wrapped in a thin cloth or towel before contact with the skin.
- Do not use on injured or irritated skin.
- Do not heat beyond recommended times or freeze for extended periods of time.
- For external use only.
- Keep out of reach of children without adult supervision.
- Place the compress in the freezer for two hours before using.
- Place the compress on the treated area for up to 20 minutes.
- In the case of a swollen joint, make sure the joint is above the level of the heart during treatment. This will further help reduce swelling.
- In case of discomfort, discontinue use immediately.
- Place the compress in the microwave on a suitable plate.
- Heat for 20-30 seconds.
- If the compress is not hot enough, heat it in 10-second increments until the desired temperature is reached.
- Carefully remove from the microwave, checking the temperature with your hand to avoid burns.
- Place the compress on the treated area for 15-20 minutes.
- In case of discomfort, discontinue use immediately.
