Extended description
Planning and design:
The lightweight protector is designed to relieve mild to moderate pain in the elbow area resulting from overexertion, sprains, and injuries.
Designed in an innovative and sporty style, and designed to provide protection and comfort for those engaged in high-level sports and training activities.
The protector is anatomically designed and adapts to the shape of the elbow.
Performance improvement:
The peripheral pressure of the protector around the elbow increases deep sensory input (proprioception, awareness of joint position),
Improves the synchronization of muscle work around the elbow.
Its use is suitable for sports activities such as rock climbing, various racket games, weightlifting in the gym,
Mountain biking, dirt bike riding, and more.
Pain reduction:
The protector creates gentle heating around the elbow. The heat and compression help heal tendonitis, reduce muscle tension, and reduce swelling.
The protector may reduce pain while driving and thus improve steering control.
Daily use:
The protector is suitable for light to intense activity. Suitable for use in sports, at work and at home.
Provides comfort that allows for all-day use. Easy to clean and wash.
Ease of daily activities:
A firm handshake, carrying heavy bags, driving, gardening, working at a computer, closing/opening a cork, turning a key in a door, kneading dough, and more.
User manual
- The protector's fasteners (Velcro straps) must be opened before wearing it.
- The protector should be worn on the elbow, the wide part on top and the narrow part on the bottom. Make sure that the outer corner of the sleeve is positioned exactly on the outer corner of the elbow.
- The tightening strap should be placed on the forearm muscles.
- The compression straps should be tightened to a level that provides muscle support on one hand, but does not stop blood flow on the other.
- The shield can be worn as needed. When there is no pain, there is no need to wear the shield.
- It is recommended to remove and clean the product occasionally depending on the degree of use.
Our expert advice
- Elbow tendonitis tends to recur. This protector can be useful whenever you feel the pain starting to return. Early treatment with the protector can prevent the pain from getting worse and may even eliminate the pain completely.
- Chronic elbow problems are caused by overload that occurs as a result of some change in our mobility throughout the day. This could be a change in exercise habits, a change in computer mouse, holding a baby for a long time, or any other reason that has changed the ratio of forces applied to our elbow throughout the day. If we know what that change is that is causing the load on the elbow, it will be possible to reduce it and speed up recovery.
- While the protector offers an affordable and high-quality solution, it is worth incorporating additional measures to treat the problem such as: warm-up exercises before activity, stretching exercises and strengthening exercises. These exercises (detailed below) will improve the strength, flexibility and function of the elbow muscles. Combining them with the use of the sleeve will be more effective in treating the problem.
- Performing the exercises should be without significant pain. There is nothing to worry about if you experience slight pain during them, but over time the pain is expected to decrease.
- Exercises should be started at a low intensity and increased according to how you feel.
- Recommended exercises:
- If using the product has not helped to sufficiently resolve the problem, please consult a physiotherapist or doctor regarding additional treatment options.
