Extended description
Product purpose:
Used to treat muscle pain resulting from overuse or overload injuries. Intended for athletic activity but also for daily activity. The main function of the tape is to immobilize and limit movement in a particular joint. Its use is suitable as treatment after a sprain or similar injury. The immobilization can also be used to prevent injuries.
Other possible uses:
- Can be used to stabilize therapeutic dressings in place.
- Can also be used on athletic equipment handles such as tennis rackets, baseball bats, or hockey sticks.
The physiological action of the product: The fixation that can be achieved with tape, if used correctly, helps to protect ligaments, tendons and muscles during activity. In addition to the fixation effect, the use of tape improves sensorimotor feedback, improves proprioceptive input (deep sense) and increases self-confidence in movement. Another action that can be achieved is a compression bandage. This action is desirable in cases of swelling, and placing it on the swollen limb improves blood circulation and reduces pain.
Planning and design: The product is made of 100% cotton. No allergic skin reactions. The high-quality adhesive we use allows the tape to remain on the skin for 2-5 days in a row. The tape is designed to deal with situations of sweating and humidity, making it suitable for athletes in physical activity. Can be torn by hand according to the desired size. Daily activity: The tape is resistant to physical activity and showers, making it an effective treatment that continues throughout the day, for several days. Using the tape allows you to continue your daily routine with reduced pain.
