Extended description
Product purpose:
URIEL medical compression stockings are designed to prevent swelling in the ankles and calves when sitting or standing for long periods of time. The compression of the stockings around the legs improves blood circulation, reduces pain, increases metabolism, reduces the risk of venous thrombosis and prevents swelling.
Planning and design:
The socks allow for optimal blood flow with their cone shape, with the strongest pressure concentrated in the ankle area and gradually decreasing upwards. This shape causes the removal of fluids that accumulate for various reasons in the ankles or calves. This design allows URIEL medical socks to also be used as flight socks - socks that help with blood flow during a flight.
User manual
- Warning: Do not use the product if you are known to be sensitive to any of its ingredients. Use only for the purpose for which the product is intended.
- The correct size must be chosen.
- You must verify the desired level of pressure; in certain medical cases, a higher level of pressure than that of flight socks is needed.
- Feet should be kept hygienic and washed with soap daily.
- Socks should be worn on clean, dry feet.
- It is recommended to put on the socks while sitting.
- The sock should be held straight while keeping the top facing up, so that the brand logo is facing up.
- Insert both thumbs into the opening of the sock and scoop the sock with your fingers in both hands until your thumbs reach the inside of the toe cap.
- Now put the cap on your fingers and roll the rest of the sock up, without pulling too tight. The cap should remain loose and without tension.
- Make sure the sock is not twisted. The brand logo should be positioned just above the toes, the heel cup should be positioned on the heel, and the knit lines should go straight up without twisting.
- The sock should fit perfectly on the foot so that there are no creases.
Our expert advice
When sitting for a long time, it is recommended to move your feet from time to time. You can perform bending and straightening movements, and rotational movements of the ankle. This movement accelerates blood flow in the feet and throughout the leg.
